DOMAINE DE TRIANS is located in Néoules, 40 km north of Toulon. It is surrounded by Loube mountain to the north, the Sainte-Baume hills to the west, and and the Cuers hills to the south. The land originally belonged to the Villa Triana, a large Roman estate.

Jean-Louis Masurel took over the property in 1989. While he modernized the winery facilities, he made every effort to restore the adjoining buildings.

According to local historians, wine was produced at villa Triana as early as Roman times. More recently, it was converted into a silk farm, although the winemaking tradition was maintained.
