Domaine de Trians' 20-hectare vineyard is planted just below the Pilon Saint-Clément hills.

Half the vines are very old (30 - 60 years), with varieties like grenache, cinsault, carignan and ugni blanc, while the other half are relatively young (14 - 16 years), e.g. syrah, sémillon, rolle and clairette.
